Western Queens Consultation Center is a community-based, mental health agency serving individuals, children and families. We are committed to offering the highest quality services for those in emotional need. Child & Family Clinic Plus

Child and Family Clinic Plus is an early recognition and intervention program funded by the New York State Office of Mental Health and operated at a local level by MHPWQ, Inc.Child and Family Clinic Plus extend clinic services into the community by providing clinical services in the school setting and in the home environment.

 
Western Queens Blended Case Management
Mental Health Providers of Western Queens operates a Blended Case Management Program which is funded and regulated by the New York state Office of Mental Health. The program provides case management services to adults, adolescents and children in the queens community who are living with mental illness and/or serious emotional problems. Recipients are provided with either an Intensive Case Manager (IMC) or a Supportive Case Manager (SCM) dependent on recipient need and OMH criterial. 
 
Western Queens Recovery Services
Western Queens Recovery Services A comprehensive, family oriented bilingual Spanish/English outpatient treatment facility that treats Chemically Dependent Individuals and Significant Others to help in their start to a healthy substance-free lives. WQRS is a community-based program licensed by New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS).
 
 
Families First Program
A community outreach, parent education program at Western Queens Consultation Center
which offers workshops and training sessions in the community and at our program sites.

Hispanic Family Services

To meet the needs of the large and growing Hispanic Community in Western Queens, we have a special bilingual Spanish component at both our Jackson Heights and Sunnyside clinics. We are especially fortunate to have a large number of Spanish speaking therapists to provide clinical services. We also have four Spanish speaking Psychiatrists.

Intakes & Referrals

Intakes can be made by telephone. Please call the Sunnyside Office at (718) 706-1663 or the Jackson Heights office at (718) 672-1705.
Referrals are processed immediately. Initial appointments are made quickly and assigned to appropriate clinical staff members.

Location

The Sunnyside Office is located at 44-04 Queens Blvd., on the second floor, with an entrance on 44th street. It is accessible by the # 7 Flushing train (46th St., Bliss Station) and Queens Blvd. Buses (Q32 & Q60).
The Jackson Heights office is located at 74-09 37th Avenue (between 74th and 75th Streets), Suite 315, Bruson Building. Nearby transportation includes the #7 train (74th St. and Broadway Station) and the E, F, G and R trains (Roosevelt Avenue- Jackson Heights Station) and the Queens bus lines Q32, Q53, Q47, Q33, Q19B.

Staff Information

Our staff consists of mental health professionals from many disciplines. We have a multilingual psychiatric staff with at least one psychiatrist on-site Monday through Saturday. Our clinical staff is drawn from the following licensed professions: Psychology, Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Family Therapists and Creative Arts Therapists. Cumulatively our staff speaks nine languages.
